DESCRIPTION:Virtual Launch of New Technical Reference (TR 74) on Storage\, 
 Land Transportation & Handling of LNG\nLNG is increasingly being adopted a
 s an alternative cleaner fuel solution within Southeast Asia and the devel
 opment of LNG infrastructure and capabilities in Singapore has never been 
 more important than now. Technical Reference (TR) 74 aims to establish bas
 eline knowledge and competency in the storage\, land transportation and ha
 ndling of LNG\, while taking into consideration of its safety\, health and
  environmental aspects of the inherent hazard and risk relating to the han
 dling of LNG.\nThe highlights of this new standard will be presented by th
 e Working Group experts who developed TR 74 : 2020. MOM will use this stan
 dard in the assessment of LNG handling and storage so as to determine if t
 here are adequate measures in place for ensuring safe LNG work practices. 
 On the other hand\, SCDF will be referencing to this new standard for the 
 approval of fire safety plan submission and P&FM license application for o
 rganisations that are involved in the LNG land operations.\nPotential user
 s of TR 74 may include organisations and their service providers in oil an
 d gas\, shipyard\, and logistic companies\, certification bodies and profe
